Cottontail's Arts, Crafts & Gifts show is a very successful event in Birmingham that features vendors from all over the country showing off their spring collections. According to last year's reports, over 1 million dollars in sales were reported from this 3 day show last year alone.

Customers and vendors have been coming to this show for over 23 years. Vendors all make their items to sell, and they come from over 25 states and Canada.

The booths are setup throughout the exhibit hall and transforms the venue into a crafts village which even has street names so vendors and customers know where to go if they want to come back in search of their favorite booth.

Cottontail's has over 500 different vendors for this event! You are sure to find something unique that you just have to have while walking through the booths. The vendors sell a wide variety of items from jewelry, beads, adult clothing, children's clothing, tutus and fairy costumes for children, candles, photography, purses, aprons, food, coffee, fudge, candy, tin art, paintings, Easter items, bubble wands, leather belts, belt buckles, furniture, hair bows, stained glass, salt scrubs, lotions, soaps, oils, birdhouses, bird feeders, wooden figures, face painting, butterfly artwork and even liquor and beer bottle nightlights. Truly something for everyone!

The prices all vary throughout the vendors. There are items there ranging from $1.50 - $150+. Most of the vendors do have their items priced, but will often make some negotiations as well.

The vendors generally do not offer bags with purchase. So it is wise to bring a canvas tote bag with you or some plastic bags of your own for any purchases you make while at the event. Some vendors do charge for bags, and there are some at the start of the event that do cost money too.

There are quite a few places setup throughout the event for people to sit down and rest at or perhaps eat something they purchased there or brought from home. There are restrooms and baby changing stations also available throughout the venue.

To save on the parking fee, it is smart to go with some family and friends to split the price of the $8 fee to park around the BJCC. These parking lots do not let you come back if you leave, so make sure you won't need to leave and come back. Cottontail's does let you enter again with a hand stamp (same day) though.

Cottontail's is a great event to go to with family and friends, so make a day out of it and have fun! If you missed it this year, check their website for information for next year's show and their Christmas show later this year.
