Could I have been this happy without you
The sun would still have brightened every day
And birds would still have learned a song or two
While flowers filled some void with their display
Would other lovers learn to light the moon
While stars still sprinkled dreams for waiting eyes
Which wander through a long forgotten tune
Were lips no longer hunger for replies
Should all I know be lost forgotten dust
Would other wonders dare to take your place
Could others spark a kingdom out of trust
Why even hope would not our time retrace
Could I have been this happy let's find out
We'll ask our world to clear up any doubt
