Well if you are looking for another way to earn money, as a stay at home mom than perhaps gigwalking is just the thing for you. Apparently there are plenty of jobs that people just don't have the time and energy to do them. For example if they will be traveling and want someone to verify the street names an individual can post a gig, and pay someone to do the job for them. There are plenty of gigs that people have posted. Basically you will be the one running errands, and gathering information for other people.
So how do you make money? Well after taking a look at the site I found that you get paid per gig, which you complete. Each gig that you successfully complete will increase your status. The better your status the more people may choose you to complete their gigs. Also if you are good at gathering information that people want and need you may get even higher paying jobs. In order to get started you will need to download their free app on the website. This means that you need to have a certain type of phone to participate. You can choose what job you want from the list. For example someone may want you to take pictures of a certain location, and then you can easily use your phone to do this.
In order to get paid for each job you will need to have a paypal account according to the website. I would highly recommend that you take the time to read through their faq's section before you sign up. Since this is still relatively new you will want to take your time and explore it first. Start by trying a simple low paying gig, to see if it is really something you would enjoy, and ensure that payment is as prompt as you would like it to be. So could Gigwalking be your next part time job, well if it proves to be a success even more people may start listing gigs, and paying for them. I do not think that you can count on this as a full time job, but a little bit of extra money can not hurt, especially if you can do a few things while running your usual errands. Once thing I did notice about the site is that they are only offering gig walking jobs in the major metro locations. So if they are not yet in your area, then perhaps you can stay tuned into the website to see if and when they will be coming to a location near you.
