Cindy Wright

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is located in Cincinnati, Ohio. A very fitting place for the hall of fame considering all the amazing musical talent that has come out of Ohio. Could X-Factor contestant Josh Krajcik keep Ohio on the musical map? With the voice and talent that this burrito slinging, Columbus, Ohio native has it is very likely he could join the ranks of the rest of the famous and beloved talent from Ohio.

Ohio is proud of the fact that this state so far from the hustle and bustle of Nashville, and the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, still is known for having some of the best talent come from Ohio. Ohio is a state that loves music, and has several festivals that highlight great musical acts, there are also many music venues throughout the state that books some of the best talent in the world, to come too Ohio and entertain the music lovers that are plentiful in the Buckeye state. With all the musical places to entertain, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame it is no wonder such great musical talents like Josh Krajcik are plentiful in the state.

Let's take a look at some of the great musical talent, who were at one time just like Josh Krajcik, living in Ohio, playing music, and hoping for their big break. Roy Rogers was from Portsmouth, Ohio; Johnny Paycheck was born in Greenfield, and spent most of his life in Ohio, David Allen Coe is from Akron, Ohio, Dwight Yoakam Grew up in Columbus, Ohio, Rascal Flatts has two members that came from Ohio, The O'Jays are from Canton, Bow Wow is from Columbus, lead singer of 98 Degees, Jeff Timmons is from Canton, Ohio. That is just a few of the musical Ohio natives, there are many more and Josh Krajcik may just join this long list of Ohio talent.

Krajcik auditioned for X-Factor in Chicago, he and his Mother drove from Columbus, Ohio so he could try out. Like Simon Cowell and the other judges, I wasn't expecting much. When Krajcik opened his mouth and sang Etta James' "At Last" I was shocked and very pleased. Simon Cowell has this to say "I've got to say, Josh. I always thought after a few auditions over the years I wouldn't be surprised again, and you started singing and you just blew me away. You're just honest." Coming from Simon Cowell that is an extreme compliment, L.A. Reid told Krajcik, "You are too good. Way too good." I have to agree with Cowell and Reid. I believe Krajcik's burrito slinging days have come to an end.

Krajcik's friends and fans are supporting him and helping a great charity, Music Loves Ohio by selling Support Josh Krajcik tee-shirts. Music loves Ohio is a charity that helps all kids, no matter their background, to learn, play, enjoy and record music. If you want to support Josh and help a great cause click here.

Be sure to watch X-Factor on the Fox network. Another Ohio star is being discovered.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is not in Cincinnati. It is in Cleveland, which is much closer to his hometown of Wooster, anyways.
