Country Club Corners Subdivision, Community Slide Show, St. Charles, Missouri

If you are relocating to the St. Charles County area and are considering St. Charles communities, you might want to look at Country Club Corners. Country Club Corners is an established neighborhood located off Country Club Road in St. Charles County just outside the City of St. Charles. With easy access to Highway 70 at Zumbehl Road you can get just about anywhere you want to go quickly. The subdivision is just about 35 to 40 minutes from down town St. Louis, and about 20 minutes to the St. Louis Lambert Airport.

Country Club Corners is an affordable neighborhood with average size ranch and two story homes, which makes it a great neighborhood for families that are just starting out, or retirees who are cutting back in size and cost. The community is safe and family friendly with sidewalks throughout the community and streetlights that provide a feeling of safety as they illuminate the streets at night. There are stop signs appropriately placed to keep any through traffic or residents who live in the back of the community from speeding. While the community is a "no outlet" community, the main road is very long and makes up most of the community, which could be a safety issue for parents with small children. The subdivision is also attached to an adjacent subdivision of older homes that could account for some limited non-resident drive through traffic.

If you are an avid golfer, the Bogey Hills golf course is just around the corner from the subdivision. If you like to shop, there is also a small shopping plaza just up the street as well. Dierbergs Grocery Store, Michaels Craft Store, Creve Coeur Camera, Bob Evans, and many other businesses are either located in that plaza or nearby as well. If you hop on Highway 70 and head West just a few exits down from Zumbehl on MidRiversMall Drive is the Mid Rivers Mall, the movie theatre, and a whole slew of other retailers.

The school district associated with this subdivision is the Francis Howell School District. The boundaries for the schools indicate that children in the Country Club Corners neighborhood would attend one of these three schools depending on their age: Harvest Ridge Elementary, Barnwell Middle, or Francis Howell North High School. One detractor about this subdivision is the huge St. Charles water tower that is visible from the main road. Although it is clean and well maintained, you might not want this in your back yard.
