Country Hill Montessori Preschool has a friendly staff. The teachers that I met appeared friendly with the children. The teachers were continuously working to connect with the children during the time I was visiting. For example, I would see teachers bending down to the child's eye level when engaged in conversation. I saw the teachers expressing concern when a child scraped their ankle. I saw teachers showing their listening skills when a child had a question. The teachers seem to have a positive and welcoming attitude that made the children feel comfortable and happy.
Country Hill Montessori Preschool provides a variety of activities for children to do. During my visit I saw children creating an art collage, playing with instruments, practice writing their name and having free time to explore the different play centers in the classroom. The children were always busy having fun and learning at the same time.
Country Hill Montessori Preschool has different centers in the classroom that children can play and learn from at the same time. For example, they have a manipulative area that has puzzles, legos, lacing and bear counting. They have a science area that children can explore different things insects using a magnifying glass. There is a block area that children use to create cool buildings. From the different areas the children learn math, English and how to socialize with other children.
Country Hill Montessori Preschool has a wonderful curriculum. The have a theme and the activities the teachers do with the children are centered on the theme. For example, one teacher I talked with told me if the theme is insects they read books about insects, explore insects outside, provide insect puzzles in the manipulative area and have books about insects in the library area. She told me they help children think and learn about what they are doing by asking open-ended questions.
Country Hill Montessori Preschool varies in cost. For a full five days it cost $155 for all day and $135 for half day. If you want your child to go only three days a week it cost $120 a week for full day and $110 for half day. Half day is 8-12am and full day is 8-6pm.
Country Hill Montessori Preschool is an excellent school with wonderful staff and fun learning curriculum. Country Hill Montessori Preschool is a school I would recommend to anyone who wants to start their child in preschool.

Post a CommentWe've had our daughter at Country Hill for the past 4 years, and aren't looking forward to leaving:( I can't say enough about what a blessing Country Hill has been to our family. In fact, they have become an extension of it. I recommend the Montessori system to anyone who'll listen, mostly due to our experience at Country Hill.
Country Hill Montessori is a great school. My daughter is 4 years old and has been there for a year. She loves this school so much, she asks if she is going to school even on weekends. Prior to this she was in private home daycare. While I had no complaints about daycare, she was never as excited about daycare as she is about going to school. The kids gets lots of playtime and excercise. There are so many activities for them- art projects (we have tons of art work), this spring they are learning about plant life cycles, butterfly life cycles, etc. There is lots of music throughout the day, etc. The wait list can be long- we were on it for several months but the wait was worth it.
