Country Star Trace Adkins in New Movie
The host of the American Country Music Awards is also a performer in Hollywood. Adkins has played several roles in major films.

The movie stars Matthew McConaughey as Mickey Haller, a Los Angeles criminal defense lawyer who operates out of the back of his Lincoln sedan. Haller has spent most of his career defending low-life criminals, but suddenly gets the case of his career when he defends a Beverly Hills playboy named Roulet (Ryan Phillippe) who is charged with rape and attempted murder. The film also stars Marisa Tomei, William H. Macy and and Josh Lucas.

In the film Adkins plays the leader of a biker gang. The country music star has previously acted in the movies "An American Carol" and "Trailer Park of Terror."
