Couple Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall Set to Divorce: Brother and Sister from Showtime Hit "Dexter"
The Divorce is Coming After a Two Year Long Marriage.
The couple was married New Years Eve in 2009 and it's a shame to see such an exciting couple divorce. Jennifer Carpenter stood by Michael Hall's side when he battled Hodgkin's lymphoma. A cancer originating from white blood cells. For any fans of the couple, it showed how deeply in love the two had become.
Jennifer Carpenter is the one who filed for divorce, not Michael C. Hall. However, the couple is ending their two-year marriage on good terms and will remain active friends. This is great news for the fans who love them both as a couple, and as brother and sister on "Dexter." Jennifer Carpenter and Michal C. Hall met on the set of "Dexter."
Maybe this should be a lesson to other actors not to date and marry co-stars. Sometimes the marriage will last for many years and many times, it will end in divorce almost as quickly as the romance started. Not only do television and movie stars entertain us but they also teach us that not all marriages are meant to last. Sometimes couples are better as friends than husband and wife.
This will be Michael C. Hall's second divorce. Michael C. Hall was married to Amy Spanger who starred in "Elf." Amy was also a Broadway singer before she met Michael C. Hall and played in "Rent. " Both Amy and Michael co-starred in "Chicago" after the two had married in 2002. Amy also guested on the hit HBO show "Six Feet Under. " Amy Spanger and Michael C. Hall were married in 2002 and divorced in 2006. Within a year, he married Jennifer Carpenter who will now be his second ex wife.
If Michael C. Hall plans to ever marry again after his divorce with Jennifer Carpenter, maybe he will get it right. Like they always say the third times a charm.
