Couples Who Game Together

LiTi-4
There is a growing trend in many couples today of all ages, races and nationalities- playing video games together. This can actually be a fun, affordable way to spend time with someone you care about. This can be a great way to get to know one another, to enjoy something your partner enjoys or to enjoy your favorite games together if you both play.

Couples who game together find this is often cheaper, safer and more fun than going out places. It can be a good alternative for a married couple with children who can't always get out of the house when they might want to. It can be a good idea for a young couple attending different colleges or living on different sides of town. It's even great for the retired couple who want to do something different, learn something new or pass the time together.

Our number one tip is:

*Always consider your partner's feelings

This is our most important tip because if you are playing games as a way to spend time together, it's important that you keep the focus on each other and how you can have fun together. You should never try to force your partner to play a game they are not interested in or make them feel pressured to play if they want to spend time with you. Don't force your partner to play with your friends, established guild, or work buddies if he or she isn't comfortable with this.

If you are part of a couple in which both of you already enjoy games, you can try playing some of your favorite games together or introducing your partner to some of your favorite games. You can also adventure into new territory by playing something you've never played before and trying it out together.

Here are some other tips for couples who game together:

-Remember to make some time for yourself and allow your partner to play games alone if he or she enjoys this
-Try new types of games together
-Make "game date nights" and plan to spend this time together
-Level up together in an MMORPG
-Duel one another on a console game

With these tips, you can get even more enjoyment from your time playing games and your time spent together. You might also find that you learn more about yourself and your partner in the process.
