Couples Retreat 2009 Film "deletes" Black Actors from U.K. Poster!

Phillip W. Chambley
"Who cares?" if unknown U.S. actors Faizon Love and Kali Hawk are deleted in the U.K. 2009 advertisement film posters? This "Bora-Boring" 2009 film stars Vince Vaughn (Dave), Jason Bateman (ironically played as Jason), Kristen Bell (Cynthia), Malin Akerman (Ronnie), Jon Favreau (Joey), Kristen Davis (Lucy), Faizon Love (Shane) and the black Kali Hawk played as the lovable and young "Trudy!" in one of her first film roles------.

Apparently, whenever this recent film poster advertisement was released and shown in the U.K. (also known as Britain), this huge film company here in the U.S.A. called "Universal Studios" decided to delete these (2) two unknown Black film actors, ------stating that over-seas marketing and or international money-making advertisement of these particular Black Hollywood actors are NOT very well known to the public, possibly causing less company revenue-----.

The recent U.K. November 2009 poster of the film called "Couples Retreat" depicts all of the famous white actors, and NOT the black not-so famous actors! ------- Universal Studios states that it shows a CLOSER poster image of the money making actors portrayed in this "so-called" comedy and sometimes depressing film. ------- One of the leading actors in the U.S. Hollywood modern film industry known as "Vince Vaughn" is shown "Close-Up" and personal in the U.S.A poster version strictly because of monetary studio production reasons.

With his beautiful blonde hair film wife, Malin Akerman played as "Ronnie" in the U.S.A and U.K. advertised film poster. If you look closely at the U.S.A version poster and the U.K. poster version, you will notice that both posters are depicting the most money-making actors and the fact that "which ones are the best well known actors all around the world?" Mostly shown in local theaters and over the Internet.

Have weekly worldwide movie theater viewers ever heard of actors "Kali Hawk or Faizon Love?" Who are these unknown Black "lovable" worldwide U.S. flim actors at this time in history? And why is there so much controversy regarding removing them from this particular film advertisement poster, especially in the U.K.?

------Some people state this is a "racial issue?"------- Although, these same people have never actually viewed this particular film called "Couples Retreat" of 2009 for some strange reason? But only want to complain stating this is an act of U.S.A. Hollywood movie racism because these (2) two actors are black? "This is basically a white person viewing film.

Hundreds of recent Internet articles have been written regarding this alleged "Racial U.K. problem advertisement film poster" A lot of these well known worldwide critics and writers "actually have the nerve to compare Faizon Love and Hali Hawk to Eddie Murphy?" (known as the TOP black U.S.A money-making actor in Hollywood history!) Which is ridiculous! Based on their obvious Black vs. White racial U.S.A. film opinion at the time.

Ask these Internet article writer complainers regarding this historic issue of 2009? When was the last time you actually paid for a theater ticket? Anywhere in the world? They will most likely say and even try to change the subject? I have NOT actually been in a public theater in years, but I honestly plan too attend one of these days? Also, ask them if they honestly keep up with today's modern movies?

Some Internet articles have also stated that this was a "Universal Studios trick" to promote more business to the film? Universal has publicly made an Internet statement saying "this was a mistake" that our marketing and publicity department had made an error in judgment and public concern, we do apologize if we offended anyone. This problem has been corrected.
