Couples Retreat 2009 Movie is "Bora-Boring" Starring Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau, Jason Bateman, Carlos Ponce Jr., Jean Reno and Kristin Davis

If your planning on going to the "Bora Bora" beach resort in the south pacific to have a really good time? I would NOT suggest viewing this film first! This movie stars Vince Vaughn (co-writer and producer), Jason Bateman, (ironically played as Jason), Jon Favreau (co-writer), Kristin Davis, Kristin Bell, Malin Akerman, Faizon Love, the NEW........ gorgeous Kali Hawk and also the lovable "pretty boy" muscle-man Carlos Armando Ponce Jr. whom actually played the "hilarious parts" of this boring and sometimes comical film.

Jason Bateman, Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau constantly argued, bickered and complained amongst themselves as so-called lifetime friends during almost 40% of this film? Similar to George and Elaine in the "Seinfeld episodes". However, even in Seinfeld, the writers new when to stop at some point? These (3) three guys NEVER seemed to stop complaining in this film with their continuous teenage juvenile 5 minutes of arguing over and over and over and over again about NOTHING? Viewers will most likely end up with a migraine headache half-way between viewing because of these ridiculous childish arguments!

These (3) three middle-aged guys are portrayed as family men, with responsible good-paying jobs, beautiful homes, beautiful wife's, automobiles and even happy children? But yet? They constantly complain and argue with one another as tho, they were small children? The film is primarily based on marital/problems therapy on a highly resort beach in the somewhere reluctantly "Bora Bora" area, which 3 of the couples un-knowingly submitted and paid for simply out of friendship and curiosity regarding one of their friendship lifelong couples?

Jason and his wife told the other loving 3 friendship couples they have decided to get a divorce and this is their final solution to their problem(s)? Showing them film slides and even "comical graphs" depicting the final year after year results of their divorce process, which was not too bad for theater viewers. Unfortunately, there was one catch? This exotic/erotic vacation package is based on (4) four couples joining?

Once these four couples arrived in this beautiful Bora Bora south pacific resort island. The hotel fantasy island/manager explains to them? There are two sides of this beautiful island? East and West Eden. One is for singles trying to get to know each other and also having a "Really great time!" This other side, which you have already became a part of, is for married couples having marital difficulties, and have tried this as a last resort for our highly trained therapist and daily itinerary that you paid for?

The only problem is? If they all turn around and decide to go back home? The travel agency will NOT pay them for their one-way airfare back home, unless they agree to the terms and conditions of the hotel "fantasy island" management of the purchased four couples package price of a truly remarkable discount of a 4 day vacation trip.

The movie trailer of Couples Retreat shows all the best "funny parts!" of this depressing and boring film. Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau were the writers of this most likely forgetful film in Hollywood history, however will be a big success with future television viewing in the years to come for some strange reason? This is one example of why film actors and famous movie stars should leave the script writings up to the experts! Even the critics will agree.
