COURAGE the TURKEY PARDONED by PRESIDENT OBAMA

Or Courage Prevails

J.C. JORDAN
President BarackObama has issued his first Presidential pardon to a Turkey named Courage today, November 25, 2009. Courage hails from Princeton, North Carolina, weighs 45 pounds and is twenty weeks old.

Courage received his Presidential pardon while Sasha and Malia, the President's daughters looked on. Courage has been spared the fate that will befall many turkeys this year and will live out the rest of his life at Disneyland's Frontier Land.

Each year since 1947 the National Turkey Federation and the Poultry and Egg National Board have supplied a holiday turkey to the President of the United States for the White House ceremony.

Happy Thanksgiving to All.
