Britney Spears Loses Any Kind of Visitation Rights

In an article on "OMG! Yahoo!" it was reported that on Friday Kevin Federline was awarded by a court commissioner the sole physical and legal custody of Britney Spears and his two little boys. Court commissioner, Scott Gordon, also suspended Britney's visitation rights. Another hearing has been ordered and will be help on January 14th.

Federline who had been given temporary custody of 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James, has now received custody because of the recent events involving Britney. Spears and Kevin Federline were married in October 2004 and divorced in July, afterwards her life seems to have spiraled downward. She has been photographed without underwear in public, and has appeared out of control ever since; she even spent a month in rehab.

Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federline's attorney, said, "I'm not happy about any of these events," "There's no winners here." after leaving a closed-door emergency hearing Friday afternoon; Kevin Federline was not present for the court hearing Kaplan said.

Britney Spears spent Thursday night and Friday in the hospital after being hauled away from her home for an unknown reason. It was believed that she may have been under the influence, but Officer Ana Aguirre has said there was no evidence of that. "Our understanding is that was not the case," she reported.

Spears was not arrested for the custody dispute that started the frenzy were police had to intervene for her to let Jaden James return to his father's custody because Britney refused to return him after a court-monitored visit.

Steve Cron, a law professor at Pepperdine, who is not involved, says Spears will face court sanctions. He also said, "My guess is that she won't be seeing her kids for a while."

Court commissioner Gordon has the option to reduce the time Spears can legally spend with her children some more, Cron stated, "at least for the time being until she gets some help. She's obviously a very troubled person."

Her troubles this time started around 8pm Thursday evening when officers were called to her home because she refused to follow the custody agreement as dictated by the court which stated that she must turn the children over to Federline after her visitation with them. Officer Ana said it took two or three hours to resolve the conflict that night. "There was no actual crime that was involved," the police spokeswoman said. Britney was not arrested because of the custody dispute and no charges will be put against her, "There was no threat to the children," Officer Ana Aguirre confirmed.
