On Wednesday, Courtney Love posted on her site (www.MoonWashedRose.com) that she lost 44 pounds and wants to lose a few more. Throughout her site and the media, she has many supporters. She attributes the weight loss to a macrobiotic diet, including lots of vegetables and fish. She also slimmed down doing yoga and exercise daily.
In addition, Courtney's slimmed and toned body isn't the only new thing about her. She wrote openly about having a nose job, saying that she loved having her "old nose" back. She jokingly said her previous nose was "like a little beak". Her lips appear to have also received plastic surgery, giving her a more natural, healthy look.
Courtney also associates her new looks with an increased self esteem, something that is extremely important to her and her life, especially with the spotlight on her all the time.
It should be noted that it was only last October that Love spoke openly about her full year of being sober. She told the press that Mel Gibson helped her get into rehab and change her life around for the better. Her new focus is now on Frances Bean, her and deceased Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain's 14-year-old daughter.
Courtney is also staging a great comeback and believes her new look and self esteem will only add to the success of her career.
