They offer pretty much anything your heart can desire. From home style pot roast and home made meatloaf to the freshest salads made right there on the spot. If your looking for a great burger they also make awesome ones that come loaded with either bacon, cheeses, or mushrooms.
They also serve up great breakfast platters. I ordered their platter with two scrambled eggs, hash browns loaded with cheese and diced ham and biscuits with home made jelly and country fried steak smothered in gravy. It does not get any better than that.
If your in the mood for seafood well at Cousins they've got you covered as well. You may want to start out with their grilled oysters or their grilled salmon. They also have shrimp and great steaks. Whether your looking for a rib eye or steak patties smothered in mushrooms and onions and topped with gravy they will get it out to you quickly.
I mostly enjoyed the country atmosphere I received from the moment I walked through the doors. From the table decorations to the wall hangings it gives you a great over all feeling. They have a wonderful friendly staff there as well as a very clean establishment.
They also offer fantastic desserts made from scratch. So no matter if your favorite is pie and your child wants a large cinnamon roll, every one leaves happy at Cousins. They have home made Marion Berry pie, Coconut Cream pie, brownie delight with vanilla ice cream and milk shakes as well.
If your looking for a nice comfortable place to rest for the night you won't have to walk very far. Cousins also has a hotel adjacent to their restaurant. So stop by Cousins Restaurant and get fed and grab a bed next time your passing through. You'll clearly be 100 % satisfied as I have been.
They are at 2114 W. Sixth St., The Dalles Oregon, 97058. Give them a call at 541-298-2771, or glance at the menu at cousinsthedalles.com.
