Couture Couture Perfume Review

A few years ago, Juicy Couture became beloved by Hollywood actresses for their stylish women's velour tracksuits. Since then, the company has solidified its empire by expanding their product line to include handbags, clothing, accessories and fragrances. Couture Couture by Juicy Couture is the latest perfume in the growing Juicy Couture fragrance line. I had the opportunity to try Couture Couture, and though it's not without flaws, in my opinion Couture Couture is one of the best new fragrances for fall 2009.

My Experience with Couture Couture Perfume

Couture Couture Perfume was created in 2009 by Juicy Couture, and this fragrance is being marketed for gift giving for the fall and holiday 2009 season. Ads for Couture Couture Perfume show a high fashion model (dressed in couture?) with captions urging the wearer to show off and "Do the Don'ts." If you're more of a traditionalist when it comes to fragrance, don't be put off by the bold statements that Juicy Girls wearing Couture Couture Perfume flaunt convention and break all the rules.

In my experience, Couture Couture is a wonderful smelling and quite feminine fragrance that isn't bold or aggressive at all. This Juicy Couture perfume just smells flowery and pretty with a nice powdery feel as well. Couture Couture Perfume is an oriental floral fragrance with notes of mandarin orange, grapefruit, plum, jasmine, vanilla, sandalwood and amber. One of my favorite scents is Vera Wang Princess, which has similar notes like grapefruit, so it doesn't surprise me that I also enjoy Couture Couture Perfume.

Couture Couture by Juicy Couture would be ideal for romantic evenings out or for that upcoming holiday party. This Juicy Couture scent is appropriate for all kinds of occasions, day and night, from work and casual wear to evening. My only complaint about Couture Couture Perfume is that the fragrance can be quite pricey and doesn't last very long. The 1.0 oz. size Couture Couture Parfum sells for $300, and while I didn't purchase the parfum, it's disappointing to apply Couture Couture and have the fragrance fade so quickly.

You'll pay a bit more for Couture Couture Perfume by Juicy Couture, but it's worth it for the luscious scent that's sure to attract lots of admirers. Couture Couture is a bit lighter than some fragrances I've tried lately, and did need to be reapplied periodically, but I adored this delicious scent and appreciate the spectacular packaging, which makes Couture Couture Perfume ideal for gift giving (women really seem to enjoy anything from the Juicy Couture line of products!)
