Cover Girl Continuous Wear Foundation: Really Continuous?

To start, the foundation comes in a convenient squeeze bottle, so it's easy to get as much as you need each time you use it. The bottle is also very compact and perfect for traveling, but at the same time there is a considerable amount of foundation that will last for months.
Another great thing about Cover Girl's Continuous Wear is that the coverage is amazing. I've come to find just a little dab goes a long way. Whether you're looking to cover a blemish or hide red, blotchy areas, Continuous Wear will do the trick, and with very little application. It especially works best directly following a good exfoliation and moisturizer. I've gone an entire day with one coat of foundation and it stays the whole day through. No caking, no peeling, just flawless coverage.
I'm also very pleased with the texture of the foundation. It's not thick or cakey like most foundations I've used. It goes on very lightly as a liquid when dabbed with your fingertips, and blends very nicely with the skin. I've never worried about looking "orange" or unnatural. Another benefit is that the foundation won't clog your pores, so you don't have to worry about breaking out.
The foundation also comes in a variety of shades, making it easier to choose the color that's right for your skin tone. In my case, I have very light skin, and the lightest shade matches the color of my skin very well.
My only complaint would be the price. There's no doubt it's definitely worth the money, but at $8 or more, it may not be the most affordable option for some people.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who's looking for flawless, even coverage to last through the day. It definitely lives up to its promise. It doesn't cake and goes on as a liquid, so it's not unnatural or heavy-looking. And even though the product may not be as affordable as some of the other products of its kind, there is plenty in the bottle to last much longer than the competition.
I'm confident that you will be just as satisfied as I've been with mine if you give Cover Girl's Continuous Wear Foundation a try.

Post a CommentI absolutely loved the Continuous Wear!!! It stayed on all day, my face never broke out from it and it never looke cakey. I swore by this product & was devastated when they discontinued it. I have tried so many other brands including other cover girl liquid foundations & l'oreal and none of them work like the Continuous Wear. I keep breaking out from the others. I miss it too!!! I have seen it on ebay but I don't know of anywhere else you can get it. Oh well....
I loved this product! It made my skin look so beautiful, didnt cause breakouts and lasted even in the southern heat! I cant understand why they discontinued this product...just hope they bring it back, none of their other products compare.
I'm so very disappointed that Continuous Wear Foundation is no longer available. I've been wearing it for 10 years and person after person asked me "What kind of foundation are you wearing.?" It resulted in many sales for Cover Girl. Also, I'm a senior and it made my skin look fabulous!!
I also love it. I emailed covergirl and they told me to try the Fresh Look. Well I did and it was too greasy. I did just check their website and it said to try Clean Oil control foundation. Also, I just checked ebay and their are several listings for it. I just typed in continuous wear makeup by cover girl and it had several hits. Goodluck
I have recently found that it was discontinued as well. I was very upset. I don't know if it is because they have the "outlast" line of foundations, etc. I have tried the outlast foundation but do not like it as much as the continuous wear.
Tip...look at closeout stores like Big Lots for the Continuous Wear make up. Since Covergirl isn't making it anymore it is being pulled off shelves and being clearanced or sent to close out stores. I found several at Big Lots here last night but unfortunately, they weren't my shade. They were only $2 though.
They stopped making the product. I went to CG's website and it's nowhere to be found. It figures--I love the stuff and have been using it for years--waaahhh!!!
me too!!! i swear by the stuff. it's becoming difficult to find it in stores though. i'm in orlando, fl... any suggestions?
