Cover Girl Line Exact Eyeliner - Beauty Review

When it comes to beauty products, I have a very eclectic collection. I have a few brands that I am fiercely loyal to, but am always willing to try new products that catch my eye, regardless of who the manufacturer is. While I have been using Cover Girl products almost as soon as I started wearing makeup, I have typically chosen to use eyeliner products from other companies over the years. I recently discovered Cover Girl Line Exact Eyeliner and sincerely believe that this is the eyeliner product I will be sticking with.

This eyeliner is priced at $5.99. There is a wide price range for this makeup essential. Some styles and brands cost only three or four dollars, while others can cost in upwards of seven or eight dollars. The more expensive beauty lines charge even more, but as much as I love my eyeliner, I simply can't afford to purchase this staple at those high prices. I felt this price was very reasonable considering that I would be using it every day.

When I first opened the package, I was very impressed with the short base of the eyeliner wand. Cover Girl Line Exact is perfectly made for those with hands that are not exactly steady as a rock. The short and somewhat wide base makes it much easier to hold the wand steady while applying the product.

This eyeliner applies like a liquid, but with a great feature. The applicator is that of a felt tip pen, instead of the softer and more pliable blush that usually accompanies a liquid eyeliner. This fact makes getting a perfect line on top of the lid and in between the lower lashes quite easy. For those gals who want to create an even more dramatic line, wider at the end and thinner in the corner of the eye, this type of applicator brush is perfect. A single upturn motion of the wand when reaching the far end of the eye creates a fabulous look that is perfect for dressier outfits or whenever a more dramatic makeup look is desired. The design of the brush makes getting virtually any desired effect from an eyeliner easily attainable.

The staying power of this makeup product is remarkable as well. When I apply this eyeliner in the morning, I can be confident that it will stay in place all through the day until I take it off in the evening. While it certainly refrains from bleeding and wearing off during the day, it takes only a few swipes of a makeup remover sheet to remove. I love that I can rely on it to stay on my lids during the day, but does not take an enormous amount of product or rubbing to remove it at night.

A wonderfully defined eye that retains it's depth of color, but can easily be scrubbed clean at night, can be achieved with Cover Girl Line Exact Eyeliner. I enthusiastically give this high quality but low cost beauty essential a full five star rating.
