I use Cover Girl Face Powder for everday use. It works great. It comes in a variety of colors, but I always use the sand shade, as it is just perfect for my skin tone.It is not too dark and not too light. It blends easily with my skin tone, does not cake or go on too heavy. The packaging is great, it comes in a durable, flip-open case. The powder puff is soft but is made of good quality cotton, so it does not fall apart easy like some of the less inexpensive puffs do. the powder is long lasting and has lasted me thru a full day of work or a long exercise session without coming off. It blends well with the foundation I use to create a natural, even look on my face. For the price you get a nice sized compact case and a nice travel mirror is included in it. I have tried many other brand names, including Revlon, Almay, Avon, and more. Cover Girl Powder always comes out ahead of them. I like Cover Girl's face powder and will use it for awile!
Foundation
I use Cover Girl's Cean foundation during the hotter months. I like it because it is not a heavy product, it goes on lightly and does not cake up. I buy the "buff beige" color, as it is light enough to match my skin tone but dark enough to cover the flaws I'm after. This foundation also does an excellent job of hiding dark circles under your eyes, covering up blemishes, or just evening out your skin tone. I like the convenient bottle it is packaged in, with a tight lid and almost unbreakable design. The only drawback about it is that it comes off easy with heavy sweating or heat, and may need to be refreshed during the day. Otherwise it is a good product, one I will continue to use. Not only for its quality, but because of the price.
Bronzer
I tried Cover Girl Bronzer, made by Procter & Gamble, for a couple months. It's not a bad bronzer, just a blush that you use on your cheeks and face. For the price you only get a very small amount which can be used very quickly. It goes on smooth, does not cake up, and seemed to blend in well with my skin tone. I choose the darker color to help cover up flaws, but they do offer a few other choices. The packaging is small, and more like a travel sized blush than an every day cosmetic. It does not last very long and has to be reapplied every few hours. But the color is nice, and I have gotten compliments on how it made my skin seem to glow. This bronzer isn't a bad product, but in the future I will probably be purchasing something different.

Post a CommentI am having the same reaction. It has been a week and seems like it progressively got worse. I think compounded the problem by using carmez as chapstick. It made my lips burn like crazy. When I got up this morning, I decided to see if anyone else has experienced this problem. I started using A&D Ointment to deal with the apparent burn.
I'm so glad I did a Google search this morning for "Outlast lip color reaction", because recently, I've been experiencing some of the same issues. I've been trying to figure out what I've been doing differently the past few weeks, and using Outlast Lip Color is something I hadn't done before the issues started.
I have been having the tingly/throbbing feeling that some mentioned, my lips feel warm, like I have a fever, as well as *feeling* like my lips are dry when they aren't dry to the touch. I was starting to freak out a little, and decided to get online and see if there were any others who'd experienced this with Outlast. I'm really relieved to find out that this is a reaction to the Outlast, and that it will go away eventually.
i can not believe that so many people have had this reaction! I have also had this reaction! This is also the second tie that I have tried it thinking it might have just been me! This is not just a coincidence! There is something very wrong here!
I have recently had the same severe reaction to Outlast lipstain. My lips burned, were swollen, and peeled for two weeks. I have never had a severe reaction to any kind of makeup so I didn't realize it was the lipstain until I used it a second time. The reaction was much worse the second time. I am never using any CoverGirl product again.
I have used this lipstick for several years and I loved it. A couple weeks ago my lips felt so dry that they cracked and were bleeding! They were swollen and hurt so bad for days!. I was freaked out by this!! I have never even has chapped lips. I stopped using it and it went away after a few days. I had no idea it could be this product so I put it on again and at first it felt fine. By that evening my lips were hurting very badly!. They swelled up so bad and cracked that I couldnt smile! It was awful! THey are still very red all on the outer part and hurt bad! I say we all get together and go after this company. There is something very wrong with this product!

they use animal testing in making their products. that is really wrong and im a vegertarian.
I had the same reaction as the others who have written in. Mine was a few years ago and it lasted off and on for 5 months. I had been using the Outlast lipstick for years with no problems. I went to the dermatologist and because of the long term use of the lipstick with no prior problems, I didn't mention it to her when she asked if I had been using any new products. I was told I most likely had a severe case of herpes on my lips and was prescribed famciclovir. It did nothing to relieve the blisters. I stopped wearing any lipstick for a long time, using only a lipbalm called corti-balm which contains a very small amount of cortisone. It finally cleared up on its own but has left the lips and skin right around it very sensitive to chapping. I read an article about a year after my problem about women having reactions to this particular product. I feel sure that this was the problem, not herpes, since I have had no further breakouts and I have not worn CoverGirl since then.

I used this product and now my lips are throbbing and swollen and chapped, and this is several days later. I am glad I found this forum.
I couldn't figure out whether it was the lip color or the gloss or the remover breaking me out. Finally narrowed it down to the lip color. Has anyone had any luck using long lasting color from other companies, i.e. Max Factor? I love the long-wearing color, have worn it for years, but I can't have my lips constantly burning and swollen. I am SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!
