Cowboys and Aliens; The Movie
A movie that I am looking forward to this Summer is "Cowboys & Aliens." It is do to be released on July 29, 2011. Directed by Jon Favreau (Ironman), it stars Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones) and Daniel Craig (James Bond). Also starring is Olivia Wilde.
Simple Plot
An alien spaceship arrives in 1873 Arizona. They want to take over the earth beginning with the western United States. A posse of cowboys stand in their way.
Detailed Plot
A stranger with no memory stumbles into the old town of Absolution, Arizona. He has a strange shackle that encircles his wrist. He soon discovers that he isn't welcomed in the town because of the iron fisted Colonel Dolarhyde (Ford). The town lives in total fear. However, their fear is soon to reach unexpected hights. One by one, they are abducted by the raiders from the sky. The towns only hope for salvation is the stranger they previously rejected.
Note; Ford didn't want to wear a hat because it wasn't his Indiana Jones Fedora. Since it was a western, he changed his mind.

Personal note
Westerns have sort of died out in the movie industry. However, this one could bring back the old classics. This looks to be a fun movie for the Summer season. This film has the makings of becoming an American classic.
