Cowboys Stadium Parking and Tailgating Parties / Football Season Has Begun!
Tips to Help You Plan Your First Football Game at the New Cowboys Stadium
Parking lots open five hours before kickoff (verify the opening time for parking and kickoff for each football game) and the current cost is $75 in parking lots controlled by the Cowboys and $40 to $60 in the Rangers Ballpark parking lots.
Lot 14 has a campground for RV parking with a dump station, but no electricity. Camping can be used for college and professional football games only, no other events. The arrival time in the campground can be no more than three days before a football game and the RV must exit by 5 pm the day following the game.
You can read more detailed information in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram article that was published Tuesday, August 18, 2009. There is even a small map you can click on to expand. The expanded map shows the black line around most of the outer edges of the parking lots. The black line indicates the tailgating areas. The link at the bottom of this article will connect you to that web page.
In comparison, in the past, parking for other non-football events has ranged from $25 to $40 in the Cowboys controlled lots and parking lots opened approximately 1 ½ to 2 1/2 hours before the event began. The Stadium doors were opened approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours before the event began.
If you have purchased a parking ticket on the Internet and have received your parking ticket, the Cowboys interactive map will help you avoid construction and traffic jams. You can find the interactive map at www.dallascowboysmaps.com
The Cowboys Stadium is a new facility and new policies and procedures are being released as final decisions are made. When attending any event in the new Cowboy Stadium, it would be a good idea to browse related information on-line and / or make a few telephone calls. Researching before you attend an event at the Cowboys Stadium could eliminate frustration and make your visit to Arlington more enjoyable.
Guest Services at the Cowboys Stadium should be able to answer questions about their facility, events, and parking. They can be reached at (817) 892-4161 or their email address is questcomments@dallascowboys.net. The Cowboys Stadium ticket office phone number is 817-892-5000.
