Cozumel Palace Resort: What You Need to Know

Snikpooh
Cozumel Palace is an all-inclusive resort in beautiful Cozumel. The rates are very reasonable for an all-inclusive vacation. At the time of my vacation in 2007, 7 nights and 8 days cost $3500.00. A bargain when you figure that it includes all meals and other food at any time plus unlimited alcohol and an in-room bar. As beautiful and welcoming as the resort is there are still a few things the first time visitor needs to know to make this island vacation the ultimate.

First, get used to hearing "it's a pleasure" - the staff respond to anything and everything you say with that phrase and while at first it is quaint and polite, After 8 days it becomes tiring.

Second, if you plan to book any excursions while vacationing on the island take advantage of the kiosk in the lobby and be sure to book ahead of time. They fill up fast.

Third, rent a Volkswagen from the rental shop across the street. Not only is it the most reasonable of rentals you will find at $20 day for an authentic antique Volkswagen convertible. Touring the island on your own with the top down is an amazing adventure you will never forget.

Finally, no matter how many attractions and sites you take in; make sure you see the nightly activities and events that occur in the resort. There is a different one every night, from native dancers performing fire dances to karaoke contests in the bar.

The Cozumel Palace resort will make you feel like royalty. A plush, fluffy robe, bubbly champagne, 4 different on-site restaurants to choose from, along with room service and daily outdoor menus - this is your Palace. The bar is open until very late and the in-room bar is re-stocked daily. Make a drink and relax in your private Jacuzzi as you listen to the ocean waves crash against the shore. Leave your cares in the States and have the time of your life.
