If you are traveling on Interstate 40 (West or East) take the Danny Thomas Blvd. (51-North) exit toward the North. If you are traveling on 40-W this should be exit 1D. If you are traveling on 40-E you should be looking for exit 1B. You will follow Danny Thomas Blvd. for about a 1/4 or 1/2 of mile and then you will come to A.W. Willis Avenue/North Parkway. When you come to A.W. Willis Avenue/North Parkway you should make a right at the traffic light. You will follow A.W. Willis/North Parkway for approximately 300 meters and Cozy Corner will be on the right. It is basically on the corner of North Parkway and North Manassas Street. It is in an older looking building and it has a blue roof.

My father-in-law and I visited the Cozy Corner on 11-13-2010 at 3:30 PM. The dining area is not very large and most of the tables and decor are pretty old. Duck tape was being utilized to keep together a seat in one of the booths. If you like to dine in places like Chili's or Red Lobster this is probably not your place. It is definitely an old fashioned place. I really liked the atmosphere.

My father-in-law and I both ordered a pork plate. You can choose whether you want your barbecue mild or hot. We both chose mild. The pork plate comes with two sides. You can choose from BBQ spaghetti, beans, slaw, or corn. I chose corn and beans. The beans were delicious and the corn was average. My father-in-law chose the spaghetti and corn. He, nor myself, had ever tasted BBQ spaghetti before. I thought it was pretty good and he even stated that if he came back he would definitely get it again. The BBQ came on a hoagie bun and it had cole slaw on top of the meat. We both agreed the sandwich was absolutely incredible. I should also mention at this time that we ate at this restaurant based on a recommendation from one of my friends. Other items on the menu include ribs, cornish hen, and even hot dogs.

Our entire ticket was $15.07. The pork plates were $5.95 each. The water was free and I ordered a Dr. Pepper. The Dr. Pepper cost $1.89. The refills were free. The subtotal of our meal was $13.79 and the tax was $1.28 for a total of $15.07.

The service we received was excellent. Their entire staff was very friendly. It is open from 11 AM until 9 PM on Tuesdays through Saturdays. I should mention that despite being in the shadows of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital the area where this restaurant is located might be considered somewhat dangerous by some.

I would definitely recommend the Cozy Corner. It is a place that I will be going back to in the future. The food was top notch and the service was second to none.
