Cozy mysteries have become quite popular, and there are a myriad of themes from which to pick. Cozies are enjoyable entertainment with great plots. Most of them are series so you find yourself relating to the reoccurring cast of characters. If you are an animal lover, you will find a long list of cozy mysteries that will interest you. Many cozy mysteries take place in the store the main character owns. So it is only appropriate that we start our list with a series that takes place in a pet store. Barbara Block is the author of a series called Robin Light Mystery Series where the pet store owner always seems to get involved with murder.

Veterinarians get into the picture also in a cozy series by Lydia Adamson. This series is called the Dr. Dierdre Quinn Nightingale Series and Dr. Quinn is a veterinarian who solves crime on the side.
