What really inspires you to write?
Sometimes I'm inspired by the creation around me, sometimes it is a song, a film or even a dream.
-What is the one thing that draws you to the computer and really gets your fingers moving on an article?
Deadlines! I work best under pressure for some crazy reason. Also, if I'm really excited about the article I'm writing and just can't wait to get the words out.
- So how did you get into writing?
From the time I was about eight and saw John Boy Walton on the TV show "The Waltons", I wanted to be a writer just like he was and even asked my parents for the "Big Chief" Writing Tablets. Ever since that time I have been using the written page to express myself.
- Tell us one thing about yourself that people might not know.
I LOVE to dance!
- What has been your greatest success in life?
Raising my three daughters on my own.
- What goals are you trying to achieve with your writing?
If others can find solace in my writing when it's a story that they can relate to personally or to touch their lives in some way at all, then I have accomplished what I set out to do.
- If you where trapped on an island by yourself what 3 things could you not live without?
My Bible, Laptop (with an indefinite amount of power), pictures of my loved ones
- Name 5 songs that you would include on your personal life soundtrack.
Suraj Hua Maddham sung by Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik, Sau Dard sung by Sonu Nigam and Suzanne, Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers, You Are My Home, sung by Chayanne and Vanessa Williams, Longer by Dan Fogelburg
- What actor would you want to play you in your life story and why?
Madhuri Dixit Nene - She is such an awesome and versatile actress and I would be honored to have her play me in my life story.
- What made you start writing for Associated Content?
I found that is is a great outlet to express myself and reach a world-wide range of people.
- What color best describes your personality and why?
Purple - it's a bubbly color and for the most part, I'm a bubbly person.
