When Kim Haney, of Crafter's Corner in DeRidder, Louisiana handed me the business card for her and her husband's little shop, she had no idea how big my mouth is. Nobody gave the poor lady a warning about how many people I'd like to bring into her quaint, comfortable, and well-stocked store. She had absolutely no idea how many people out there might like to try a little mayhaw jelly on a biscuit.

Why did we experience Crafter's Corner of DeRidder, Louisiana 70634? We needed a few things. Some appliances, among other little things, and to tour the store located at the corner of Highway 26 and 171 in DeRidder, Louisiana. Their hours are published as Tues through Saturday 10 am to 6 pm,but if you still have questions, they can be called first at 337-396-7612. Being a quick drive for us both,we took the day and visited in person (but I'll bet they'll take an order for mayhaw jelly to be shipped.)

What do they offer at Crafter's Corner, of DeRidder, Louisiana? After Janet and I walked through the appliances outside, we admired the woodwork of several various pieces of furniture, and reveled in its splendor. The work was fantastic. We won't discuss prices, here, as they may change.

What's it like inside of Crafter's Corner, of DeRidder, Louisiana? Next, our steps found themselves inside of the store. Kim, a puppy, and another patron greeted us at the door. A summary stroll through the various displays by different vendors offered everything from edibles, to wearables, to smellables, to thinkables, and that's not to mention the unmentionables. While I might not shop here for everything I need, this is the greatest store to visit on at least a semi-regular basis. The first visit will only sell patrons on a return visit.

Did we meet anyone working at Crafter's Corner, of DeRidder, Louisiana? Kim talked shop for a minute with us both, and gave us this here business card. While we were shopping, one particular item caught our eye: An 800-threadcount sheet set was priced $13, out of a box of them for $25 a set (still a great deal). Before we brought them to the point-of-sale, she'd confirmed with the vendor, a price was mis-labeled. By calling the vendor, Kim proved to anyone who might ever need-to-know, she watches out for her vendors. (Vendors: Remember that number I shared earlier? It's a great Louisiana market here.)

All-in-all, I'll give the Crafter's Corner an overall rating of "You-Bet-Your-Sweet-Bippy-I'll-Be-Back," as well as my own business. Give these wonderful folks a call, or a visit, and snag yourself up a great deal! (We really recommend you at least order some mayhaw jelly by phone. It's that good!)

Yup. I typo'd it in the second use. But I had it right on the first usage. Do I get any credit there? :D
    It's fixed, now, anyway.

Very nice of you to write this! Mayhew jelly...I'll have to look up what a mayhew is.
