Crafting Classes in Indiana, PA

If you are searching for crafty outings in Indiana, Pennsylvania, then your resources are just about run dry. There are a few however, that might hold interest to the average artist.

First, check out The Artist Hand Gallery, www.theartisthandgallery.org/education.htm. Located on 637 Philadelphia Street in Room 210, they have just started opening Adult classes for Artists ages 13 and up. Learn the basics of Drawing, Felt making, and Basket Weaving, all of these fun classes begin July 10th and continue every Saturday thereafter. Next, stop by the Windblown Studio, www.windblownstudio.com. About half an hour from Indiana, PA, it is located at 596 Wulfert Road, Rochester Mills, PA 15771. Mostly offering Pottery Classes, although they do have other events on-site, the next set of classes begins on July 25th. Windblown Studio requires an age limit of 15 and older. Classes are offered Monday through Thursday from 6 until 9 p.m. and the fee is $120.00. The fee does sound steep, however, it does include 25 pounds of clay, glazing, firing, and free practice time in studio. For more information call 724-286-9555.
