Craftsman has a great reputation for standing behind its products, and the Honda engine on the Craftsman 3000 Pressure Washer was the icing on the cake.
I got it home, filled the gas tank, and hooked up the hose to it. I got the Craftsman 3000 Pressure Washer started on the second pull, and away we went.
I decided to test it out on the driveway first. I had allowed a friend to park his dilapidated car there for a few months, and when he finally got it out of there, it had leaked oil all over.
The Craftsman 3000 Pressure Washer has a Turbo wand attachment available which I had picked up. This thing can be dangerous if you are not careful. I used to clean the driveway, and was I surprised! (I managed to rip a gouge in the grass next to the driveway when the spray got away from me.)
I used the Craftsman 3000 Pressure Washer on the oil stains by just hosing it down first. It took a good portion of the stain away, but not completely. Next I used some detergent and directed the spray right on the oil stain, and it completely washed it away.
The next task for the Craftsman 3000 Pressure Washer was the house. Since that was the main reason I bought the thing, I started with the high wood siding on the side of the house. I made sure to be careful using the turbo wand, as I had seen what it can do if you don't pay attention.
The Craftsman 3000 Pressure Washer did a great job on the wood siding, and then I used it on the brick. By the time I got done you would have thought the house had just been built. I probably took off 35 years of accumulated grime, and crud of the house.
I have never used a pressure washer before, but once I got the hang of it I had no problems.
One minor complaint is that the gas tank only gives you about an hour of use, before you run out of gas. Maybe they could look into increasing the size of the tank. Overall, though I would say that this was a great buy, and will pay for itself.
