Crash of the Titans marks the 14th in a series of crash bandicoot games that go way back to the mezo-era of PS1 and N64. This edition of the series is quickly proving to be the most versatile of them all, allowing wide screen and LAN play. The game is even offered on Nintendo Wii, changing the game play completely and giving a whole new perspective the Crash Bandicoot and his whimsical exploits. Crash of the Titans is becoming one of the top games this year, ranking along the upper echelon of other top notch games on X-Box 360 and other popular consoles.

Still, much of the game has remained the same. Crash must defeat the evil Cortex and save Wumba island from the possession of bad 'mojo' that Crash collects for points and extra life. In between the main game play are the mini-game that have become a staple for Crash Bandicoot games. At the end of each level Crash is still away either a bronze, silver or gold voodoo doll depending on the points earned and mojo collected. But probably the coolest feature about this new edition is the combat. Crash can now attack, block and dodge in real-time- adding a whole new realm to the classic game. Instead of Crash being caught in circumstance like in previous installations, the player has more control over the situation which adds to the suspense and fun of the game.

Another fun addition is the two player option. Another controller can be added and the 2nd player can tag along Crash's backpack until the surroundings are deemed safe. At that point player two can get out of the backpack and help fight, or collect mojo points to make the game a little easier. This co-op feature makes the game much more fun and increases the replay value, even after the game has been beaten. Two players give the game that extra umph and defeat that whole one person plays while the other watches problem encountered in a lot of the good video games on the market today.

Join Crash as he moves from Titan to Titan, defeating the evil bosses, collecting points and trying to save his sister CoCo. The game, offered on an array of consoles, has been distributed to almost every corner of the world (in exception to japan) and can be found at your local video game store. Crash Bandicoot has a reputation for being one of the most addictive and fun games on the market. After about ten minutes of playing, there won't be any question why. Crash of the Titans hits the mark and hits it well.
