The lil ones will have a blast playing Silly Santa Stop! at their next Christmas party. Guests walk around in a circle while you play Christmas music. When the music stops you yell "Silly Santa Stop!" and everyone must stop. If anyone moves before the music starts again , they are out. Vary the length of time that the music plays to catch players off guard and make the game go quicker. The game continues until there is only one player.
Santas Balloon Stomp is a great ice breaker game at any office party!
Each participant blows up a Christmas themed balloon (a thriftier alternative could be red and green balloons) and ties it with a bit of string or wool to his/her ankle. On the given command, the guests (only using their feet) try to be the last person to have their balloon bursted ie, you stamp on your opponents. Again great fun, caution is eered on anyone getting carried away with the stamping. As survivors get fewer, reduce the playing area.
Santas Mystery Stocking is a game that is perfect for a private Christmas party or even an office Christmas party and is good for adults and lil ones!
You will need a Christmas stocking. Fill it with several different items such as a remote control, tape dispenser, a watch, etc. You can pick items to match your party theme or age appropriate things. For example, at an office party you could use small office supplies, at a childs party, you could use small toys. Try to get things that feel like they may be something but are really somethingn else. Close the top of the stocking so nobody can peek in. Make sure it is made of a material that people can feel through. Pass the stocking around to the guests and have them feel the contents through the stocking and write down what they think the secret contents are. Once everyone has had a chance to feel the stocking, read off a list of items that were in the stocking. The person with the most correct answers wins the game. The stocking and it's items can be used as the prize.
Christmas Movie Trivia is a great office Christmas party game. Give each person or group a list of movie trivia questions and a pencil.
