A woman in Coventry, England was videotaped on a home security camera as she performed an unthinkable act of animal cruelty. As she walked along the sidewalk, she came to a friendly cat and stopped to pet it. After casting some furtive glances to make sure no one was watching, she snatched the unsuspecting cat by the scruff of the neck and popped it into a lidded trash bin. The lid snapped shut and the woman went on her way.
The cat's owners heard their pet, Lola, meowing in the bin when they returned home 15 hours later, and they rescued her from the cruel fate. Lola is doing well following the ordeal. Lola was a shelter cat, so this is the second time her loving owners have rescued her.
Lola's owners have a security camera in place, and the entire event was caught on tape.
I'm thinking that this woman should spend 15 hours closed in a trash bin, then perform 1,500 service hours cleaning pens and cages at an animal shelter. Supervised, of course.

Post a CommentWow. Shocking!
There are some very weird people walking around the streets. You wonder where the hell they come from. Thankfully, Lola survived. Your Queen looks magnificent, by the way!
That is horrible! Glad the owners heard her when they got home
Saw this on the news...unbelievable.
Well that is really sad, poor cat!
And now she's "on the air." I wonder how many people have recognized her? Will she be punished?
That's just too sad for words.
If the woman who put the cat in the trash can lives in that neighborhood, she's in for a rough time from her neighbors. She should do jail time. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, FF.
sad people
I saw this! Weird people out there.
