Cream Cheese Stuffed Mushroom Appetizers
1 large container of button mushrooms
½ package of cream cheese, softened.
½ small onion, chopped
4 tbls Parmesan Romano cheese, divided
Clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel. Take off stems of mushrooms. Cut off ends of stems and throw away. Chop up the remaining stem pieces and put in small bowl. Add chopped onion. 2 tablespoons of Parmesan Romano cheese and cream cheese. Blend together. Stuff the mushroom caps with mixture. Place stuffed mushrooms on baking sheet.Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan Romano cheese on top.
Place under broiler for 5-7 minutes. Check every 1-2 minutes. Take out of broiler when you have achieved your desired browness.
