Many wedding centerpieces are bright and vibrant with color and reflection. This centerpiece is a little different, it's not that bright, it will bring more of a cozy feeling to your wedding reception. The best part is that it will look very professional, but you will be able to make it yourself. Here is how to get started on your cozy wedding reception centerpiece.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

First you will need to sheets of sandstone rock. The sheets should be rectangular, only about 1/2 inch thick and about 1 and 1/2 feet long, about 6 to 8 inches wide. You can find sheets of sandstone like this at landscaping stores. Next, you will need a round piece of copper of a copper vase. You will also need some small glass votive candle holders and some votive candles.

CREATE YOUR COZY WEDDING CENTERPIECE:

This centerpiece is very easy to create and only takes a few steps that anyone can do, because there is no arranging of flowers this piece is simple. First, simply place one of your larger pieces of sandstone directly on the table. The pieces of sandstone do not all have to be the exact same size. Next, place your round piece of copper or copper vase in the middle on top of that piece of sandstone.

Now you will place a second piece of sandstone on top of the round copper piece. This finishes the stacking. Now you can place about four votive candles into four glass votive cups and set them on each of the four sides of the centerpiece. The candles will reflect off of the copper in a cozy way, giving this centerpiece and your tables a cozy feel. This is a nice addition to any wedding color, because it doesn't necessarily have to match your wedding colors.
