Create Cute Easter Egg Centerpieces

In the spring you can use Easter eggs to decorate your table with, especially for a spring banquet or spring wedding reception. This idea uses a few items to create a cute spring looking centerpiece even for your dinning room table. Follow these steps to create this cute Easter egg centerpiece.

ITEMS YOU WILL NEED:

You will need several items for these centerpieces. First, get some medium sized clear plates. Next you will need some Easter basket grass, a hot glue gun, terra cotta pots and some floral foam. You will also need eggs and an Easter egg coloring kit. Get some spring colored acrylic paint as well, and make sure to get white. Also, get some fake spring flowers.

CREATE THE CUTE EASTER EGG CENTERPIECE:

The first step to creating these cute Easter egg centerpieces is to color your Easter eggs. You could hard boil them or use blown eggs and color them. Next, you can paint the terra cotta flower pots, paint the top edge of them white and the bottom and bright spring color. Then you could add some designs to them if you would like, for instance, white polka dots of the bottom colored section or paint a flower on the front of some of them, be creative.

Now set up your plate. First, add Easter basket grass on top of your clear plate, then place a 2 or 3 inch piece of floral foam right in the center of the plate, you may want to glue these down if you are not using too good of a plate. (You could always buy the clear disposable plates at the store to use).

Now place one colored egg into each terra cotta pot and place them all the way around the floral foam. The final step is to add some fake flowers to the floral foam. This makes for a very cute Easter egg centerpiece.
