Create an Easter Egg Blossom Centerpiece

Easter and spring are a time for redecorating the home and bringing some of the outdoors in. You can use some blossom branches and Easter eggs to make a beautiful spring centerpiece for your dining room table. Here is how to get started.

ITEMS NEEDED: The first item you will need is some blossom branches from your own back yard or you could get some at a craft store. Next, you will need some eggs, a dozen should do. You will also need an Easter egg color kit and some green Easter basket grass. You may also want to use a small platter or dish to display this centerpiece in or your could put it right on the table. You will also need some twine or ribbon and a hot glue gun.

CREATE YOUR EASTER EGG BLOSSOM CENTERPIECE: First, you will need to cut all of your spring blossom branches to exactly the same size. Next, you will put all of your blossom branches into a bunch and then twist them in a way so that they sprawl and fan out, so that the bunch can stand up on it's own and the branches form a circle at both ends that is about 5 or 6 inches across. Next, you will use your twine or ribbon to tie around the center of the branches to hold them into this sprawled out shape.

Next, color your Easter eggs. Blow the eggs out and then color them with your eggs coloring kit.

Finally, you will glue the Easter eggs to the tops of the blossom branches. Simply put a little glue on the tops of the blossom branches and set the Easter eggs on top of the glue. Do not move the piece until the glue has dried and the eggs are well secured onto the branches. You can then make a little nest with your Easter basket grass, make sure it is large enough for your blossom and egg centerpiece to set on top of and set your centerpiece on top of your Easter grass next in the center of your spring table.
