ITEMS NEEDED: First you will need to find a bowl or vase to start your centerpiece with. The only requirement is that the bowl or vase that you use is clear and the contents can be seen from the outside of it. Next, you will need plastic Easter eggs, the kind that you get to hide for Easter egg hunts. Then you will need some white satin or mesh ribbon that is about 1/2 inch to 1 inch wide.
PUT YOUR EASTER EGG RIBBON VASE TOGETHER: When you have collected the items that you need to make this simple Easter egg centerpiece you can get started. You will simply put one end of the ribbon into the bottom of the vase, you could even tape it into place if you are having trouble with it staying. Simply tape it to the center of the bottom of your bowl or vase. Next place a few eggs into the bowl or vase, then sort of wrap an egg or two with the ribbon. Do not wrap all of the eggs, you want a simple weaving look. You just want the ribbon to look like it is sort of peeking in and out of the Easter eggs from the outside of the bowl or vase. Keep repeating the process until your vase is completely filled to the top with Easter eggs. You can also tape the ribbon anywhere that you need to so that it will stay in place between the eggs where you want it.
Once you have reached the top, then you can cut your piece of ribbon and tuck the cut edge down into the eggs so that it is not sticking up. That's it! Your beautiful Easter egg ribbon vase is finished and ready to be displayed on your Easter table. It is so simple yet so beautiful and elegant looking, you will get many compliments on this simple centerpiece.
