Create Easter Name Tag Holders

Easter is a time when families come together to celebrate Jesus' love and gather around the table to eat. You may also be having an Easter wedding where you could use these name tag holders on your reception tables as well. These cute little Easter name tag holders are easy to make and as cute as can be.

ITEMS NEEDED:

You will need small terra cotta pots, only about 2 to 3 inches tall. You will also need small pieces of styrofoam that will fit down into the terra cotta pots without showing. You may need a hot glue gun to hold things in place. You will need sprigns of plastic grass, that are only about 3 to 4 inches tall (about 1 inch taller than your pots).

You can find this at craft stores, and it can always be cut down to the size you need. You will need eggs, an Easter egg coloring kit, and small white ribbon that is about 1/4 inch wide. Lastly, you will need some floral wire, a pretty spring colored marker, and small pieces of paper or white cardstock for the name tags.

CREATE THE EASTER NAME TAG HOLDERS:

To start creating these Easter name tag holders, first you should color your Easter eggs the way that you want them. Next, you can start preparing the terra cotta pots. To do this you will need to first glue your small piece of styrofoam into the bottom of the terra cotta pots. You may need to cut the pieces of styrofoam down to size, you only want them to come up about 3/4 of the way inside of the pots.

Next, you can start placing your sprigs of plastic grass around the edges of the pots. You may need to glue these into place to make them stand straight up. Leave enough room in the middle of the grass for your egg to rest in. Use a piece of the floral wire to make a holder for the name tags and stick it down into the styrofoam with the grass. Make up your name tags with your bright colored marker and stick it into the name tag holder. Lastly, place your colored egg down into the grass and you're finished.
