Create an Easter Witness Basket

Easter is the time of year to show God's love through our actions and to share with others how Jesus dies on the cross for our sins so that we may have eternal life in heaven. At Easter time, espeically, we need to share with others how they can accept Christ Jesus into their hearts and ask him for forgiveness of their sins to live for eternity in Heaven and not hell. Here is a basket that you could make for a family that may be suffering this Easter and use it as a witness for Christ.

EASTER WITNESS BASKET:

With the economy being the way it is, some families that normally would be fine may be suffering a little and may need a hot meal for Easter. Even if you took this over to a friend or neighbors home before Easter it would be a nice gesture and show God's love through you.

To make the basket, simply prepare a hot meal, like ham with mashed potatoes and gravy or pork chops with country gravy and scalloped potatoes. Then get a little something extra to put in the basket that will be a witness for God. You could get little salvation tracts and add them to the basket.

You could also get a family bible and put it into the basket. You could even send a christian DVD, CD, or a child's christian DVD in the basket. Sometimes the best way to get to people is through their children, don't ever under estimate the power of a child.
