TROPICAL TUB AREA: For the tub area make it fun and tropical. Fill the tub area with bright aqua marine colors, like greens and blues. Paint the wall behind the tub an aqua blue or green, but do not paint the entire bathroom this color, it would be overwhelming and uninviting to the eye. On the wall behind or over the tub hang a shelf. Simply a wooden shelf will do, you could paint it white or the color of the wall it you would like to make it stand out or you can simply leave it a wood color. Then use some fish net and drape it over the shelf. Pull the sides of the fish net out on each side of the shelf and nail or tack them up on the wall to get the feel and full effect of the fish net. Then you could hang some brightly colored yellow or orange fish over the fish net to draw the eye. You could also hang coral, starfish, or seashells on the fish net if you would like, to give it more of an ocean marine feel.
TROPICAL SINK AREA: Around the sink, decorate with brightly colored tropical themed soap dish, tooth brush holder, and more. You can find tropical decor like this at most retail stores. Also, take some extra fish net and drape it over the top of the vanity mirror to bring that ocean marine feel from the tub area on over to the sink area.
TROPICAL FLOOR RUGS: Get some brightly colored rugs and a tropical bath mat for the floors. This will help bring the look of your tropical themed kids bathroom together even more. You could also get a tropical toilet seat cover to decorate the toilet with.
TROPICAL SHOWER CURTAIN: You can also find bright colored shower curtains at most retail stores. Keep the colors bright, since it is a kids bathroom and you can get away with it. Add in extra tropical accessories where ever it is possible to keep the theme flowing and fun.
