Create a Funbook,Have Lots of Fun Yourself and Make a Present Everybody Will Like, for Next to Nothing!

MJ
What do you give somebody who has everything? Or perhaps might not have everything, but you have a very ,very low budget and still want to give a present? My brother is a Techie, and so I am always at a loss what to give him. After all what interests him would be something technical, and I don't know anything about technical things.(see my article about the computer). I have given him all the towels he's ever wanted or even need by now. I also have painted all the paintings he's ever wanted and last Christmas I despaired.

My brother has his own business and works hard. I decided he needed some fun in his life. But he needed laughter at the times he had the time to laugh. This was difficult, because he might take a coffee-break of 5 minutes now and then and go back to his beloved electronics, for the next 6 hours. So I came up with the ideal present: a Fun book.

All you need is 1 photo book, glue, scissors,a computer , the Internet and a printer. (oh and lots of time).

I didn't know this, but there are a lot of fun-sites and jokes-sites. Some only display pictures, some real (but funny) stories, some have pure nonsense. Since my brother is interested in technical stuff, this was what I looked for. You'll have to keep the person's interests in mind; if he/she is interested in golf, look for that.
My finished book has 5-minutes laughs in it and he can read it in his breaks.

I'll give you a list of the websites I've visited: stunning-stuff.com / snopes.com/ johnfanzine.com/ allfunnypictures.com/ ananova.com/ slinkycity.com./ funnyhub.com/ reallyfunnypictures.com/ funnyanimalpictures.net/ thespoof.com/ webwombat.com.au/ pyzam.com/ ahajokes.com/ boredtodeath.com
ebaumsworld.com/ humor4you.com
There are a lot more of these websites so once you worked your way through these you can start your own list.

The rest is pretty easy: print out what you like, cut it out and glue onto the pages of the photo book. If this is a present for someone close to you you can personalize it with a picture of yourself on the first page with a letter.

This would be a nice project for children too, when it's cold and dark outside, all that's required is you sorting out suitable pictures and stories and they can cut it out and glue it in the book. Or when you're feeling depressed , this is an absolute must-do,it will lift you up, I guarantee it! It works better than Prozac and is a lot cheaper than a therapist!
