Photobucket is an online photo-editing site with a lot of great functionality. You can upload your images, share them with friends & relatives & also generate newly designed images. While there's lots of options under the "create" umbrella, from making items with your photos on them to fresh editing of your images. This article will discuss making an animated GIF from your photographs. To begin, you will need to register for an account. Photobucket has a free options as well as an upgrade to pro option, which has a fee.
Upload the image or images you desire to work with to your online photo album at Photobucket.
Editing your picture: You can choose to edit your picture. Choose to do this under the "my albums" pull down menu. Look around here because not only can you do small edits to your picture you can alter the picture to be a cartoon or black & white & so forth. The sample file for this article was one image that was altered into seven pictures that were edited online to make an animation.
Choosing "create remix" will open up the Adobe Premiere Express part of the site. Here you can generate & publish a video. You can add your photographs or video from your album by drag & drop technique onto the large window & decide upon how long each will be shown in your animation/video by moving the slider under the picture.
Adding functionality to your animation you can add text, stickers, a border, music & transitions to your creation. Try out several of these options to get the feel for how the site works. Start with a simple idea and try out the options. Build from there.
Using the "share album" pull down menu, you can share your photo creation with a variety of different options like Blogger, Facebook & email, to name a few.
Once you are satisfied with your animation/video you can either pick to preview and/or publish it. Once done, you will be give a few options for a direct link to your creation or html code to paste into your own website.
Photobucket has lots of options & functionality. It is worth your time to look around & discover its possibilities. It is a great online option for photo alteration without having to buy costly photo editing program.
