Create Green Ball Centerpieces for Your Wedding

These green ball centerpieces an be used to accent any wedding reception table. They could be used along side of flower centerpieces or any other type of centerpiece. They look elegant and are budget friendly and easy to make as well. Follow these steps to make your own green ball centerpieces.

ITEMS YOU WILL NEED:

First you will need large styrofoam balls, you can find these at craft stores, like Micheal's or Jo Ann Fabrics. The balls should be 4 to 5 inches across. You want these balls to stand out. Next, you will need push pins with pearl ends. Finally, you will need green leaves, you could use real leaves or fake leaves. If you decide to use fake leaves, get two different colors of leaves if possible, a light green and a darker green.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR GREEN BALL CENTERPIECES:

First, you will simply start placing leaves onto the styrofoam ball using the push pins with pearl ends to hold them into place. First use the lighter green leaves, or if you are using real leaves, one side is usually lighter than the other side. Use the light side first. Next, start layering the lighter leaves with the darker green leaves, holding them into place using the push pins also. The pearl end of the push pins really show up against the green leaves and make for a pretty centerpiece.

You could again, display these green balls with other flower arrangements or any other type of ceterpieces, or you could simply use them on their own, because they are pretty enough to do that.

You could use this same concept to make flower ball centerpieces. Simply by pushing fake flower down into a styrofoam ball, keep them very close so that the styrofoam doesn't show through when you are finished. If you use really bright flowers, this would be a beautiful spring flower arrangement for your dining room table as well.
