Create Your Own Holiday Movie Themed Gift Basket

When making gift baskets for a gift consider making a themed gift basket. In the spirit of the holiday season making a movie themed basket is a fantastic gift for the whole family. In this day and age most families don't get to spend enough time together.

To create the most fabulous holiday movie themed gift basket you will want to start with a large basket. Now you need to pick out the best holiday movies. Some great titles you can add to your holiday movie themed gift basket are "The Miracle on 34th Street", "Elf", "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", "Santa Buddies", and "The Santa Clause" just to give you a few ideas. These are all terrific family movies that everyone will enjoy.

Once you get your holiday movies picked out you will need to add some tasty snacks. If you know the family's favorite snacks you are ahead of the game. However, you can choose any of these tasty treats and I am sure they will go over great. A movie themed holiday gift basket must have popcorn. Now microwave popcorn works but that kind that comes in its own little pan that you cook on the stove is perfect. Add some chips, trail mix, and any other nonperishable items you think the family will love and you are almost done.

Now you need something to drink in your holiday movie themed gift basket. Pop or Soda is always a choice or you could add some sports drinks and juice if you think the family would prefer those. As a special touch you could add some homemade baked goodies. Homemade cookies and other festive treats adds a more personal touch to the basket.

Once you are done filling the movie themed basket you need to wrap it up. Using a clear cellophane bags or wrap secure the basket so nothing falls out. Add a big festive bow to the top and you are good to go. The last step is delivering the gift basket to the family to enjoy.

I love making gift baskets. I had never considered a movie-themed basket, but now it's on my list.
