Create the Perfect Article Writing Mood

Melanie L. Marten
I am not in the perfect article writing mood right now. Nope. However, since I have been TRYING to write one free article here on Associated Content every day (and failing miserably by the way), I figured I better sit down and just write.

How you create the perfect article writing mood is completely up to you. Some have elaborate rituals involving the lining up of notebooks, pens, and sticky notes filled with researched facts and figures. Others take a more spiritual approach and do some yoga-like stretching or try an article writing prayer. Still others get in the mood with a strong cup of coffee, a cigarette, or a glass of wine. For some, the mood just hits them.

Creating the right mood for article writing is a diverse and varied art. At its core, it is either a psychological aid in producing quality written articles, or a devious form of the grand art of procrastination.

Come to think of it, these freebie articles are another great example of procrastination. I could be writing an article for pay right now.

Bye!

Great read! My problem is that my house is too noisy during the day and then when it finally quiets down for the night, I am often too tired and can't get in the writing zone.

Great topic choice. You could really extend this into a good payment article.

I need to get over my procrastination and just force myself to be "in the writing mood." I'm terrible about needing to write but having too many "other things" to do. I should just make myself write and submit one article every day. Thanks for the inspiration.

Some days I have difficulty writing anything. I get lazy sometimes too.

Sometimes it is hard to get in the "writing zone." Once I get started, though, I'm on a roll. Ha.

I have lost my writing mood recently when I had to articles in a row rejected for payment. Hopefully my spirits pick up soon.

Some days, I have to be organized to write, as you said. Pens in line, notebook ready to go. Other days, I am sitting with coffee in hand, staring at the walls and an idea hits. Then off I got into my writing zone. I wish I could find the key that would always unlock the muse inside me. Great article. And good luck with your goal.
