This ribbon wrapped spring centerpiece is easy to make and easy on the budget as well. Creating a spring centerpiece for your table is a good idea because it can save you money and you can make it look however you want so that you will really like it and be proud to tell guests that you created it. Here is how to create this ribbon wrapped spring centerpiece.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

First you will need a square tin can or container that you can glue ribbon onto. Make sure it's not a container that is an antique or special to you, because you will probably not be able to get the ribbon off once it is glued on. Next, you will need about three or four different designs of ribbon. The ribbon should be about 1 to 2 inches wide and should all have matching colors. You will also need a hot glue gun. Finally, you will need some fake or real flowers to fill your ribbon wrapped square container with.

CREATE YOUR SPRING TIN CENTERPIECE:

First, make sure any labels or stickers are removed from your tin can. Next, you can start wrapping the square can with your ribbon. You will need to cut pieces of ribbon that will wrap once around the can. Once you have the ribbon cut, you can start gluing the strips onto the can. Start at the bottom and simply glue the ribbon on with a hot glue gun as you wrap it around the can.

Then add the next piece right above the first piece, making sure that the can doesn't show through between the pieces of ribbon. Continue to do this until the can is completely covered. Finally, you can place some water into the can and place a boquet of spring flowers down into the can. Add some greenery to make it really pretty if you wish.

One idea that is really pretty is to use pink, purple, and white flowers with ribbon that has pink, purple, and white on it. The colors of the ribbon should match the colors of the flowers to make this centerpiece look great.
