Create a Room Dedicated to Fishing

Some people love to fish and some people hate to fish. Either way, any room will look cute set up as a fishing room. You can even purchase a fish tank and keep some of your own fish on display. There are many different ways to create your own fishing room. You can use your own items or you can make or purchase items to hang up in your room. The first thing that you will want to decide on is wallpaper, a wallpaper border or a color of paint. You can choose any color you would like to but I would suggest some type of green or blue color to match all of the fishing pictures you will be using in your room.

Now you will need to find good fishing pictures. Perhaps you have your own fishing pictures that you could blow up and frame. Have you ever taken a picture of a fish that you caught? Perhaps you can take this picture into a photo shop and get it blow up for you. Then you can purchase a frame for this photo and hang it up on the wall. Perhaps you even have some fish that you have taken to a taxidermist that you can place up on the wall as well.

I would suggest buying some type of large fishing net. You will want to use the net from this fishing net and cut it off of the pole. I would suggest something that it thick so that you can hang some different items from the net. You can go to your tackle box and take out some cool looking lures that you have had good luck with or no luck at all, it really doesn't matter. The lures that brought you the most luck will bring back the most memories. You will want to clean up a bunch of different lures that you can hook to the net. If you don't have any lures, you can purchase or find some lures.

Next, you will want to look on eBay for different fish related items. Fishing clocks, fishing curio cabinets and old antique fishing poles would be a good start. You can find a lot of different items on eBay that you can use to decorate your fish dedicated room. You will really be surprised as to how many different items you will be able to find. I would highly suggest buying a nice fish tank to place in the room. Perhaps you can purchase a live fish or two to place in the tank. You can purchase freshwater fish such as the Peacock Bass or you can catch your own fish (be careful). You can try to call a place which stocks fish and ask them if you can purchase a few fish as well.
