If you are having a beach themed wedding and want to keep your budget in low this is the perfect centerpiece to use for your wedding reception tables. This centerpiece will be easy on your wedding budget, because the items to make it are not too expensive and you can make it yourself, saving you money at the florist. In fact, there are no flowers needed for this centerpiece, so you don't even have to arrange flower, making it easy for anyone to make. Follow these steps to make your own seashell candles centerpiece.

ITEMS YOU WILL NEED:

First you will need a small glass bowl for each centerpiece. The bowl should be see through glass and look like a little fish bowl, about 4 or 5 inches wide. Next, you will need some white or beige sand and a few seashells for each centerpiece. You will also need a tealight candle for each centerpiece and some tulle that matches your wedding colors for each centerpiece.

DESIGN YOUR SEASHELL CANDLE CENTERPIECE:

It is easy to put this simple seashell centerpiece together. First, simply fill each mini glass fish bowl with your white or beige sand. You only need to put about 1 to 2 inches of sand in the bottom of each bowl. Next, you can place the tealight candle right in the center of the bowl on top of the sand. Now you can place a few of the seashells around the candle on top of the sand. Once you have done this part you bowl is finished and ready for display.

To display your bowl, simply cut some tulle and wrap it into a circular shape. You can secure the tulle into the circle shape by placing a rubber band around the ends if needed. Then simply place it on the table where you want the centerpiece to be and place the bowl right on top of the tulle in the center. You could even use two colors of tulle and wrap them together if you are using two colors for your wedding. This piece is simple and beautiful for a beach themed wedding.
