How would you like to create your own ringtones for free, have them sent to your phone for free, and have the ability to share your ringtones with all of your friends? This sounds fun doesn't it? In this article I am going to walk you through the steps of creating a PhoneZoo account, and then I'm going to tell you a little bit more about what you can do with them. I hope you enjoy this!

Getting An Account:

1. Open an internet browser.
Note: There are no specific browsers accepted, you can use your preferred one.

2. Type in http://www.phonezoo.com into the URL box and hit enter.
Tip: If you can't get to the page by entering this, try going to http://www.google.com and entering in PhoneZoo; the first result should take you to the website.

3. Once you get to the PhoneZoo homepage, click on the orange button around the page that says "Sign Up."

4. Fill out one or both of the forms that come out in this page, read the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, then hit "Register."

5. Once you hit register you will be taken to a page where you can provide your mobile phone details, you can chose to provide this later if you wish by clicking on the "Provide Later" button.

6. Once you have finished with that page, you're in! Surf the site for the ringtones you want, make your own by uploading an audio file, or check out what your friends have uploaded!
Note: If you don't yet have any friends on this website, create an email with a link to the site and send it out to them.

Benefits of PhoneZoo:

- Create: When they say you can create a ringtone it means you can upload a music file, an audio file, or record an audio file to be made into a ringtone and they will have it customized and sent to your phone. This is an awesome tool that you should definitely take advantage of!

- Send: PhoneZoo makes it incredibly easy to send the ringtones you upload, create, or get from friends to your phone; any phone. PhoneZoo supports hundreds of cell phones, a lot cell phone providers, and the process takes about a minute or two.

- Share: When you create a ringtone, you have the ability to keep it private or not. If you don't keep it private then your friends on the network can use your ringtones and you can use theirs. This is very nice, especially if you don't have any ringtones you want to upload yourself.
