Create Spring Flower Pots for a Centerpiece

ITEMS YOU WILL NEED:

First, you will need medium sized terra cotta flower pots. The terra cotta flower pots should be about 5 to 7 inches tall, you don't want them to be too tall for the table. You could also do this with a larger terra cotta flower pot if you want, if you have a larger dinning room table and want to upscale the look.

Next, you will need white acrylic paint and also some colored acrylic paint. The color depends on what matches you dinning room or wedding colors, but it should be a bright pastel color to look more spring like. You could use pastel green, pink, blue or any other pastel color that would match your wedding or dinning room. You will also need some paint brushes and some flowers, roses look really nice in these spring flower pots. And some water also.

CREATE YOUR SPRING FLOWER POTS:

To start creating these spring flower pots, the most important part is the painting of the pots. First you will start with a base layer of paint it could be white or one of your pastel colors. Once they base layer is on and dried, you may need to apply another base layer, depending on how thick the first layer was, if you can still see the terra cotta color through the base layer of paint, then you need to apply another layer.

The next step is to apply polka dots to the spring flower pots. Use white for the polka dots if your base layer is a pastel color and use a pastel color for the polka dots if your base layer is white. Simply put tiny dots all over the pot to create a cute spring look for the flower pots. Finally, you can put a little water into the bottom of the flower pots and arrange your flowers in a cute fashion and you are finished with these cute spring flower pots for your dinning room table or wedding reception.
