When we think of spring we think of getting out into the garden and planting and watering our flowers to help them grow. Think of an old watering pail fill with a boquet of fresh flowers from your garden, how beautiful this would be as a spring centerpiece on your dining room table. Here is how you can create your own spring water pail centerpiece.

ITEMS YOU WILL NEED:

You will only need a couple of items for this antique looking, yet beautiful spring centerpiece. First you will need to find an old watering pail. The metal kind with a spout that would have been used years ago for watering gardens. You may be able to find an old pail like this at a yard sale or an auction, maybe even at a thrift store or goodwill store. The more antique it looks, the better.

Make sure that the pail doesn't have any leaks by testing it outside first, you do not want water to leak on your dining room table. Next, you will need some fresh cut flowers from your very own flower bed or garden. You will also need some water.

CREATE YOUR SPRING WATER PAIL:

To create this spring water pail centerpiece, first simply add some water to your antique watering pail. Next, add your fresh cut flowers from your flower garden. You can use any flower that you want or any that coordinate in color for this centerpiece.

This centerpiece makes for a wonderful spring centerpiece to bring the spring indoors. You can simply replace your flowers every week or so when they start to wilt or die. Since they are your own flowers you can go right outside and cut more to add to your centerpiece again. You could also get flowers from the store if you do not have a flower garden or some wild flowers from along the side of the road would be beautiful in this piece too.
